Disabliing ableism, Lesson 93: I can invite friends over to a house that is messy. I don't have to apologize for the mess. And we can heat up frozen Trader Joes meals for dinner, then spend the evening knitting, showing my friend the magic of German short rows, and the trick of casting off with a larger size needle so you can get it over your head!
And look! This is my friends FIRST sweater! (you can still see a stitch marker where she had just finished casting off!).
